Race Info

The Tightwad 5K is a casual run taking place on New Year's Day. While there's no official timing or awards for runners, a clock will be available at the finish line. Volunteers will receive prizes for their assistance.

This event is limited to the first 40 people to sign up. If you don't register, you're encouraged to participate as a "bandit".

Race packets are not provided. Amenities may include water, coffee, hot chocolate, and doughnuts at the finish line, with potential for more coffee and pastries at Summit Coffee if open.

Volunteer Awards

Volunteers will receive "something cool" for their efforts, with details to be announced.
