Race date: August 2, 2025

For: 7-12 year old triathletes!

Description: This triathlon starts with a swim, followed by a bike ride, and finishes with a run. The 9-12 year olds will complete a 200-yard swim, 4.5-mile bike, and 1-mile run. The 7-8 year olds will do the same swim, but bike and run half the distance.

Location: Howard Amon Park, Richland, Washington. Race HQ is located at the picnic shelter in the south end of the park, on the river side of the Richland Community Center.

Day Before Race Schedule: Packet pickup from 4:30 to 6:00 pm at Atomic Ale Brewpub, 1015 Lee Blvd, Richland, WA 99352.

Race Day Schedule:

• 7:00 am – Packet pickup starts
• 8:15 am – Mandatory pre-race meeting
• 8:45 am – Race starts for 7-8 year olds (9-12 year olds start after, approximately 9:15 am)
• 11:00 am – Course closes

Cost: $20 per triathlete (increases to $25 after July 21, 2025)

USAT: Every child must be a member of the USA Triathlon Federation ($10 per year).

Registration: Online registration closes July 29, 2025, or earlier if the participant limit of 200 is reached. Pre-registration by July 21, 2025 guarantees a t-shirt.

Awards: Awards will be given to the top boy and girl, and the top 3 boys and girls in each age group (7-8, 9-10, 11-12).
