TRI Clear Lake 2025

Event Overview

The Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the 8th Annual TRI Clear Lake Triathlon sanctioned by USA Triathlon on Saturday, May 24, 2025. The scenic course will commence at City Beach; the flat and fast bike course takes athletes out and back along South Shore Drive. The race is capped off with a 3.1 or 6.2 mile run on North Shore Drive along beautiful Clear Lake and back to a lakeside finish in City Park downtown.

This is the perfect race for beginners, and experienced triathletes alike looking for a great tune-up race for Ironman 70.3 Des Moines. Clear Lake is a beautiful tourist destination conveniently located on I-35, just 2 hours North of Des Moines and 2 hours South of Minneapolis. After the race, enjoy a high-energy lakefront finisher party, complete with music, food, and beverages!
