Description: Get ready to enjoy Pikeville in a unique way! This sprint distance triathlon will have you swimming at our local YMCA pool, followed by a scenic bike ride through Historical Downtown Pikeville, and finish off by running through the Epic Blue Chip Trail! This year we are adding team relays and aquathlon divisions (swim/run). We encourage both beginners and seasoned triathletes to give this a try!
Distances:

• Triathlon: Pool Swim - 300 meters, Bike - 20 kilometers or 12 miles, Trail Run - 5 kilometers or 3.1 miles
• Duathlon: Track Run - 1.6 kilometers or 1 mile, Bike - 20 kilometers or 12 miles, Trail Run - 5 kilometers or 3.1 miles
• Aquabike: Pool Swim - 300 meters, Bike - 20 kilometers or 12 miles
• Aquathlon: Pool Swim - 300 meters, Trail Run - 5 kilometers or 3.1 miles

Additional Rules:

• THIS IS A USA TRIATHLON EVENT. PARTICIPANTS MUST GET A ONE DAY LICENCE.
• HELMETS MUST BE WORN ON BIKE COURSE.
• NO PASSING WHEN GOING DOWN THE BOB AMOS HILL.
• THE RACE IS OPEN TO TRAFFIC. TRAFFIC LAWS ARE TO BE FOLLOWED WHILE ON BIKE SECTION OF THE RACE.

Packet Pickup & Late Registration:

• Friday, August 29th - 5 PM - 7:00 PM at race site
• Saturday - Race morning from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM - at race site

Parking: At the YMCA Parking lot and there also are parking lots by the track and tennis courts.
Awards Ceremony: Will follow each event's completion. Awards will be for first overall male and female. We will not ship them out, so please check with us before you leave.
