Trooper Kevin Conner Memorial Run

The Trooper Kevin Conner Memorial Run honors the life and service of Trooper Kevin Conner (B-551), who died in the line of duty on October 17, 2018. This annual event brings together nearly a thousand people to participate in a 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk.

Schedule of Events:
The race takes place on Saturday, October 11, 2025. See the full schedule HERE.

Race Swag:
Register by September 10, 2025 to guarantee a race shirt. All finishers receive a medal.

The Course:
The race starts and finishes in front of First Citizens Bank (422 S. Madison Street, Whiteville, NC 28472), traversing Downtown Whiteville. The 5K course is certified by USA Track & Field and is stroller & wheelchair friendly (no dogs allowed).

Awards:
Awards are given for top 3 male and female overall finishers, top 3 in each age group, and the fastest team (minimum 4 members).

The Cause:
Proceeds benefit the Trooper Kevin Conner Scholarship Fund for students in Columbus and Bladen County.

Registration:
Register online, at packet pickup, or on race day. Prices increase on July 30, 2025 (1 Mile Virtual price increase on July 26, 2025). 5K and 1 Mile are $25, 5K Virtual and 1 Mile Virtual are $25.
