This November, gear up for the Turkey Shuffle, the premiere race of our exciting new series in the Texas Hill Country. The Turkey Shuffle is the perfect way to continue your Thanksgiving festivities and work off those feast calories. Taking place the Saturday after Thanksgiving, this event offers a range of distances to suit all runners: choose from a 1-mile jaunt, a 5-kilometer challenge, or a 10-kilometer trek through the picturesque trails of the estate. For our youngest participants, the Kids Dash provides a fun sprint of approximately 50 meters, designed for children aged 10 and under. As you run through the vibrant fall colors and enjoy a break from the Texas heat, DJ Sasquatch will keep you energized with the best music. Every runner will be recognized with age group awards celebrating your achievements, and the festive atmosphere will be further enhanced by our exciting costume contest. Dress up in your most creative Thanksgiving-themed outfit for a chance to win a Trophy and a prize pack that includes a certificate for 2 free future races, a $25 HEB gift card for your Thanksgiving feast, and a special Bigfoot Running Company Swag Pack.

COSTUME CONTEST

The costume contest at the Turkey Shuffle is going to be a spectacular highlight you won’t want to miss! Unleash your creativity and dazzle us with your most fabulous Thanksgiving-themed outfit. Whether you’re rocking a turkey tutu, a pilgrim’s hat, or an inventive feast-inspired ensemble, this is your chance to shine. The competition will be fierce, and the grand prize is the coveted "Biggest Turkey" trophy—an honor that celebrates the best and most creative Thanksgiving attire! Get ready for a fun-filled showcase where the most imaginative costumes take the spotlight. So, gather your costume ideas, bring your holiday spirit, and join in on the excitement. You could be the one walking away with the coolest trophy and bragging rights for the most spectacular Thanksgiving getup! Winner will receive an impressive "Biggest Turkey" Trophy and a prize pack that includes a certificate for 2 free future races, a $25 HEB gift card to enhance your Thanksgiving feast, and a special Bigfoot Running Company Swag Pack filled with cool goodies.

Join in all the festivities you have come to expect from a Bigfoot Running Company event. Awesome medals, cool Tee's, high energy staff, 100% focus on participant experience, live awards, and lets not forget the coveted Bigfoot Trophy's. Snacks and refreshments will be available when you finish at the race rally tent. Our DJ will be playing all the hits and announcing every runner. All award winners will be announced and recognized for their accomplishments. Aid stations will be on the course to provide water and to assist should you have any concerns during your run. Our primary focus is to make your race fun, safe and exciting. All finishers of all distances will receive a medal and shirt.

• Youth-based pricing for the 5k & 10K - 12 & Under are only $15!
• Participants will receive a $20 refund if they refer 5 others.
• Join as a group and receive special group discounts. The larger your group gets the larger your group discount gets.

Race Distances offered:

• Kids Dash - This event if for our little Yeti's and is typically about a 50 meter dash. Designed for kids 10 and under. This is not timed and includes a tee shirt, race medal, and exclusive Kids Dash recognition pin.
• 1 Mile - Our 1 mile race is designed for all ages and experience levels. This event is not chipped timed and includes a tee shirt and race medal.
• 5K - Our 5K race will take you 3.11 miles through the course. This event is chip timed and features 1st overall trophy's for male and female finishers, special recognition pins for 1st place male and female master's category as well as our standard age group awards.
• 10K - Our 10K race will take you 6.22 miles through the course. This event is chip timed and features 1st overall Bigfoot trophy's for male and female finishers, special recognition pins for 1st place male and female master's category as well as our standard age group awards.

Event Schedule

• 9:30-10:45am Packet Pickup
• 10:55am Kids Dash (Meet at the Start Line and we will walk participants out to the starting area)
• 11:00am National Anthem and Race Start!

Results and Awards are live and available at the Registration tent immediately following your finish!

This race is held at Flat Creek Estate. Participants should expect mixed running surfaces including dirt paths and grass. Any difficult paths will be avoided to ensure the best running surface available is utilized.
