Turkey Strut 5K
The Turkey Strut 5K is a Thanksgiving Day event that offers both in-person and virtual participation options. The in-person race takes place at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds, featuring a USATF-certified 5K course and a 1-mile fun run/walk. Virtual participants can complete their race anytime between Thanksgiving Day and the following Sunday. All 5K participants receive long-sleeve T-shirts and finisher medals; one-mile participants can purchase a shirt during registration. The event benefits the We Care House of Winston-Salem, and participants are encouraged to donate canned food items.
