Turkey Trot 5K

Join Habitat for Humanity of the Lowcountry for a fun 5K race on Thanksgiving morning in Downtown Beaufort. Starting at 8:00 AM EST on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Bay & Newcastle streets (in front of the Best Western). Run through historic downtown Beaufort and across the famous Woods Memorial Bridge following a certified 5K course.

Race Details:

• Date: Thursday, November 27, 2025
• Time: 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM EST
• Location: Best Western Sea Island Inn, 1015 Bay Street, Beaufort, SC 29902, US
• Course: The race starts/finishes on Bay Street between the Marina and Best Western at Freedom Mall. The course runs down Bay Street and across Woods Memorial Bridge to Lady's Island, turning right at Meridian Rd, down to Youmans Drive, and back to Freedom Mall.
• Registration: $40.00 - $45.00. Price increases after October 1, 2025. Race day registration is $50.00 from 7:00 AM - 7:45 AM.
• Packet Pickup: Wednesday, November 26th, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM at Grounded Running, 2139 Boundary Street, Ste 108 Beaufort, SC 29902
• Parking: Downtown marina parking lot across from 1015 Bay St, Beaufort, SC 29902
• Awards: Prizes awarded to the top three male and female in each age division (under 12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+). Awards ceremony at 8:45 AM.
• Pet and stroller friendly (standard 4-6ft leash required)

Additional Information:
The Turkey Trot 5K is part of the Beaufort Triple Crown, a three 5K race series. Participants completing all three races receive special awards. Registration bundles are available until October 1st, 2025. Registration fees and shipping are non-refundable. If an in-person race is not possible, it will be transferred to a virtual format.
