Turkey Trot Details

We are back at Hansen Dam for our Turkey Trot 5k, 10k, 15k, and Half Marathon run/walk on Saturday, 11/29/2025! This event is not on Thanksgiving Day but rather the Saturday after.

Event Schedule

• Bib Pick Up: 6:30 - 7:20 AM
• Start Time: 7:30 AM

Course Information

The course is easy to follow and consists of loops around a marked path, with one small hill approximately 0.6 miles from the start. The distances include:

• 5k: 1 loop
• 10k: 2 loops
• 15k: 3 loops

Aid stations will be available at every loop. For the Half Marathon, there are 3 extended 5k loops. View the courses here: 5k Course and Half Marathon Course.

Registration Information

• 5k: $35
• 10k: $40
• 15k: $45
• Half Marathon: $50

Race day registration will be available! All participants will receive a time and placement on our results page: www.abetterworldrunning.com.
