Distances: Half Marathon, 10 Miler, 5K

If you are new to trail running and would like to "get a taste of the trail", try out the 5K - 3.1 mile (ish). For those who want to test their grit, run the 10 mile (ish) or half marathon to race up to Becky's Bluff. Whether you are a seasoned trail runner looking for an excellent ramp up to the fall race season or looking for a reason to try running in the woods, you will not be disappointed with the Twisted Ankle Race at Sloppy Floyd State Park. All runners will encounter wide trails, some single track and their way up to Marble Mine. 10 Mile and Half Marathon runners will hit the heart and soul of the Twisted Ankle Race as they top Becky's Bluff for a short trip on the Pinhoti Trail. Rocks and roots included.
