Tyler Brown's "I Hate to Run" Memorial 5K

Join us on January 11th for the Annual Tyler Brown's "I Hate to Run" Memorial 5K. Tyler Brown was the literal embodiment of a Salesian Gentleman. Filled with gentle strength, Tyler lived authentically and fully until his life was tragically cut short by a car crash in his senior year. A decorated artist, athlete and student, Tyler lived to serve and inspired his classmates through service, friendship and zeal.

Participants will receive a race long-sleeve t-shirt, a free pint glass to all finishers, post-race snacks, and beverages including free beer for those over 21. There will also be a post-race celebration with a DJ, free digital photo booth, awards ceremony, and a ticket raffle with various prizes.

Event Schedule:

• January 11th, 2026
• 9:00am - 9:50am: Registration and Bib Pick Up
• 9:00 am - 9:45AM: Pre-race Mass in stadium suite
• 9:45 am - 10:00am: Kids Fun Run (on track)
• 10:00 am: 5K Starts
• 10:30 am: Post Race Festivities

Age Groups & Awards:

Overall Male/Female, Overall Male/Female Master, Top 3 in each age group (Male/Female 9 and under, 10-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+). Overall and Masters based off GUN TIME, Age Groups based off CHIP TIME.

Virtual 5K Information:

A virtual 5K is a race you can run or walk anytime and anywhere you like. SWAG will be mailed to you. Virtual results do not count towards age group awards.
