Union Mills Wilderness 5K & 10K (Formerly Box Creek Event)

Location: Union Mills, NC 28167

The Union Mills Learning Center is presenting the 5th annual Union Mills Wilderness 5K & 10K. The 10K route takes runners alongside the Second Broad River, the CSX Railroad, and around the base of Rocky Face Mountain. The 5K participants can walk or run the route starting at Union Mills Learning Center. Both races start at 10:00 AM EST.

Registration ends: February 25, 2026, at 11:59 PM EST.

T-shirt deadline: February 16th.

Awards will be given to the Top 2 Male & Female Overall and Top 3 places (Male & Female) in each age group (1-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over).
