• 5K Turkey Trot: $32. Registration opens September 21, 2025 at 11:59pm EDT. Open to ages 99 and under.
• 1-Miler Trot: $20. Registration opens September 21, 2025 at 11:59pm EDT

Description: 13th Annual Club at Ironwood Turkey Trot 5K and 1-Miler Fun Run/Walk. We are looking forward to seeing our participants in person on Thanksgiving morning. Get your pre-meal fitness in and have fun while doing it! We encourage you to come dressed to impress, so don't be afraid to show some Thanksgiving spirit. Pumpkin Pie Bites at the finish line to give yourself a nice little reward for all of your hard work!

Valley CAC is a local non-profit organization that works closely with Law Enforcement and Child Protective Services to provide immediate services to child abuse victims in the Staunton/Augusta/Waynesboro area. Services provided to children and their non-offending caregivers include Forensic Interviews, Victim Advocacy, and Mental Health Counseling. Valley CAC provides services to children in our local communities, and nearly 75% of the cases we see involve sexual abuse allegations. Our services are provided completely free of charge, so your support is greatly appreciated!

Packet Pick-up: On Wednesday, November 27th, packet pick-up will be held at the Valley Children's Advocacy Center, at 1105 Greenville Ave, Staunton, VA 24401 , from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. A friend or family member may pick up packets or the morning before the race.

Event Schedule: Race-day registration and packet pick-up will end at 8:30 am. The 5K will start at 9:00 am and the 1-Miler will begin shortly after. We will be closely monitoring weather conditions the evening before our event. If ice is present, we will not be able to access the course. Messaging will be provided to all registrants via email.

Awards Ceremony: There will be awards given to the top Male and Female 5K finishers, and a finisher medal for all of our participants aged 14 & under! A special race day t-shirt is included for each registration. Please register by November 21st to be guaranteed a race t-shirt.
