Registration

Registration opens on November 4, 2024, at 8 AM and closes on August 3, 2025, at 11:59 PM. Pricing is $85.00 from November 4, 2024, to July 5, 2025, and $100.00 from July 5, 2025, to August 10, 2025.

Course Description

The race starts at Government Peak Recreation Area and involves a challenging route up Government Peak via dedicated trails, followed by a ridge line traverse and descent to Independence Mine. Expect various terrains including steep trails and dirt roads, with quickly changing weather conditions.

Requirements

Participants must complete a liability waiver and are advised to be comfortable with the terrain. It is mandatory to carry at least 500 calories, a light jacket, and hat/gloves.

Aid Stations

At least three aid stations will be on course, offering refreshments and snacks, but runners should not rely solely on them for nutrition.

Parking

Parking is available at both Government Peak Recreation Area and Independence Mine, but no race day shuttle will be provided.

Ages

Ages 16 and older can register, keeping in mind the technical nature of the race.
