Victory Races is back to Labor Day! Join us for a fun and fulfilling experience. Pick your distance or participate in the doubleheader! Each race comes with a medal, a fast course, and a fun time out in the Minneapolis neighborhood. Plus, every step you take supports nonprofits strengthening the Minneapolis community. Lace up and make a difference!

Course

This course is flat, straight, and fast! The race starts on Webber Parkway near Colfax and proceeds west on Victory Memorial Drive to the flagpole. It then turns directly south to Lowry to the halfway point turn-around and returns the same route, finishing on Webber Parkway near Bryant Ave. The 5K course is flat, out to the flagpole and back. The course and our events are all USATF Certified.

• 9:30 am - 5k Start

We're excited to share some exciting updates for the return of Victory Races Presented by LifeSource in 2026! Return to Labor Day Weekend. The Victory Races are also returning to their traditional Labor Day Weekend date! Mark your calendars for a festive holiday weekend filled with community spirit, fast racing, and end-of-summer celebration.

Victory Lakes Voyage Challenge
New for 2026, we’re introducing the Victory Lakes Voyage Challenge — an endurance journey that connects two iconic Twin Cities races. Participants who complete the Victory 5K and 10K and the City of Lakes Half Marathon in 2026 will earn an exclusive Voyage Challenge medal to celebrate their 22.4-mile accomplishment across these two storied events.

VICTORY RACES EVENTS & DISTANCES

• Victory Races 5K: A race for everyone! This 3.1 mile course starts and ends at Webber Park in North Minneapolis.
• Victory Races 10K: Take on the challenge! The Victory 10K offers runners an opportunity to conquer a fast and exhilarating course. The 10k also starts and ends at Webber Park in Minneapolis.
• Victory Races Doubleheader: Two races, double the fun. Test your endurance with the Victory Races Doubleheader by running both the 5K and 10K!
• Victory Kids Run: Big fun for little runners! A kid-friendly race that’s energetic, exciting, and inclusive.
• Victory Lakes Voyage: A NEW challenge in 2026. Sign up to complete the Victory Races 5k, 10k, and the City of Lakes Half Marathon.

What Participants Get

All Victory Races Participants receive: Finishers Medal, Chip-Timed Results, Post-Race Celebration, Race Photos.

Doubleheader Participants receive: Special Doubleheader Shirt, Bragging Rights.

Victory Lakes Voyage Participants receive: Exclusive Voyage Medal, Discount on Run Minnesota or City of Lakes Merchandise.
