About the Event
Event Overview
The Virginia Trail Running Festival is organized by Run Bum Races and will take place on October 11, 2025, starting at 6:00 AM in Fries, Virginia. The event features several race distances including a 100 Miler, 50 Miler, and a 100 Miler Relay.
Race Details
- 100 Mile: 32 hour cutoff, approximately 1,500 ft gain or less. Finishers receive a buckle.
- 50 Mile: 17 hour cutoff.
- 100 Mile Relay: About 9 spots to switch runners, max of 8 runners per team, running the same course as solo runners.
Aid Stations
Aid stations will be available every 5-8 miles, fully stocked for runners. Drop bags will also be provided.
Location & Accommodations
The race will be based out of Foster Falls, with recommendations for house rentals or hotels in nearby towns.
Registration
Ensure you register by September 1st to guarantee a finisher award. Registration prices include:
- 100 Miler - $196.18
- 100 Miler Relay - $88.50 per person
- 50 Miler - $142.93
