We Walk! Marathon

Event Overview

The 2025 We Walk Event will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, on the Dakota Rail Trail, located west of the Twin Cities in Minnesota. This event features a range of walking distances including:

• 10 km
• 13.1 miles (Half Marathon)
• 26.2 miles (Marathon)
• 50 km

The event starts and finishes in Mayer, MN, with the Mayer Lutheran High School serving as the facility location.

Event Details

This event is designed specifically for walkers and welcomes all types, including ordinary walkers, fitness walkers, power walkers, nordic walkers, race walkers, hikers, and wheelers.

Registration Information

Registration closes on Wednesday, September 24 at 11:59 PM CT. There are discounted early registration options available until April 1. T-shirts can be ordered as an add-on up to August 15.

• 50K: 6:30 AM
• Marathon: 6:45 AM
• Half Marathon: 7:45 AM
• 10K: 8:45 AM

Location

All activities take place on the Dakota Rail Trail, which offers a smooth, paved surface ideal for walkers.
