About the Event
Join us for the Welcome Run 5K on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Living Word Church in Lansing, IL. The race starts at 9:00 AM, with check-in opening at 8:00 AM. This event benefits the non-profit organization, The Welcome Network, that resettles newcomers fleeing war and persecution.
There are several events: Welcome Run 5K, Welcome Run Virtual 5K, and the Welcome Run 5U (for children 5 & under). The course is a flat double loop around the neighborhood, suitable for serious runners, walkers, and families with strollers.
