West Coast Wanderers Trail Run Relay

Event Overview

The West Coast Wanderers Relay is a women-only event celebrating the creation of 3 newly formed Women's Trail Running groups in West Cumbria. Teams will come together for a friendly relay on a 3km loop (maximum) around Walk Mill Woods. Each team will have mini teams of 4 runners, with each runner completing the 3km loop before handing over to the next teammate.

Women who are not members of West Coast Wanderers are very welcome to participate. You can form a team of 4, or you will be grouped with other women.

The 3km route will be clearly marked with flags and arrows, and marshals will be present to provide support. (Note: the 3km distance is a guide and may vary slightly on the day due to weather and participant numbers).

The event aims to encourage friendly competition while focusing on the social benefits of running with women, enjoying nature, and experiencing trail running.

• West Coast Wanderers members: Free entry
• Other entries: £5 per person

This is a not-for-profit event; all monies raised will cover the costs of future events.
