Event Details

Welcome to the Whitby Regatta Swim 2025! This event is a friendly, community-spirited swim race for those with open water swim experience.

• Distances:
• Sandsend to Whitby swim (Approx 2 miles) - Average time to complete 1-2 hours. A challenging sea swim for experienced open water swimmers.
• Beach Hut Swim (Approx 1000m) - Average time to complete 45mins-1hour. An entry-level swim along the shore past Whitby's iconic beach huts.

Requirements

• Age: Must be 18+
• Open water swim experience required
• Wear swim cap provided
• Wetsuits permitted
• Bring a tow float and swim buddy

Refund Policy

If the event is cancelled due to bad weather, a reserve date is set. If you cannot attend the reserve date, places are non-refundable. Other refund rules apply based on circumstances.
