Description

We have once again partnered with the Glen Urquhart School to co-host our annual Wicked Kidz ½ Mile and 1 Mile race for children from pre-K to grade 8. The event is a FREE, professional-style race event with race bibs and awards, just for the kids! We had SO much fun last year, and can’t wait to do it again!

Event Information

Our 1/2-mile course meanders through the GUS nature trail and around the camps. We will have plenty of volunteers along the route helping to direct kids. Parking is available in our front lot, located off of 74 Hart Street or our back lot off of Greenwood Ave.

12:00 - 1:00 p.m. Bib pick-up for advance registration.

We will begin with the 1/2-Mile race at 1:15 p.m., followed by the 1-mile race. We will close the afternoon with an awards ceremony for the top three runners in each race.

There will be a 1/2-mile course option for our younger runners (Pre-K through Grade 2), and a 1-mile course for runners of any age!

Register by 10/17 to guarantee a shirt!

Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:

• Pre-K - Kindergarten
• Grades 1-2
• Grades 3-5 (1-mile course only)
• Grades 6-8 (1-mile course only)
