About the Event
Wild Turkey Wattle
Date: Thursday, November 27, 2025
Location: Otsego Regional Park, Otsego, MN
Description: A family-friendly 5k run/walk on Thanksgiving morning, with beautiful trails through wooded sections along the river. Strollers are welcome. The event also includes a 1.5 km Kids Gobbler race.
Beneficiary: Hosted by local high school nordic ski programs (Elk River, Rogers, Zimmerman) to offset athlete costs for equipment, training trips, and competitions. This is a non-profit (501c3) fundraiser.
Donations: Non-perishable food items or winter clothing donations for CAER (local food shelf) are accepted.
Shirts: The first 300 registered receive a dri-fit wicking event shirt. Register by November 9th to guarantee size.
Packet Pickup: Race morning starting at 7:00 AM.
Start Times:
- 5k Run/Walk: 8:00 AM CST
- 1.5k Kids Run: 8:45 AM CST
Race Day Registration: Available, but shirts/giveaways may be limited.
