About the Event
The Wine Country Trail Runs occur at Chehalem Ridge Nature Park near Gaston, OR. Oregon Metro bought this former 1260-acre Douglas Fir tree farm and restored the area to its natural beauty. Participants will find ten miles of well-groomed pea gravel and dirt trails amidst beautiful evergreens, maples, and streams flowing to the Tualatin River.
Race Details
- Half Marathon - A challenging course using every trail in Chehalem Ridge Nature Park.
- 10k - Enjoy views along the trails with some aid stations.
- 5k - A flat course for all levels of runners.
Adaptive Race
Northwest Dirt Churners is proud to host an adaptive 10k trail race, ensuring accessibility for adaptive racers.
Race Day Schedule
The event starts on July 20, 2025, with details as follows:
- 8:00 AM - Park opens
- 8:45 AM - Adaptive 10k starts
- 9:00 AM - Half Marathon starts
- 9:30 AM - 10k starts
- 10:00 AM - 5k starts
Finishers will receive a stemless wine glass and can enjoy refreshments post-race.
