The 5th Annual WORTHY 5K and 10& Under Fun Run!! SUPPORTING: Trail Life USA LA-2206 (#the2206)
Saturday, March 7TH, 2026 8:00 a.m. – Arthur Teague Boat Launch at the foot of Shreveport Barksdale Bridge.

Trail Life USA is a Church-Based, Christ-Centered, Boy-Focused mentoring and discipleship journey that speaks to the heart of a boy. Established on timeless values derived from the Bible and set in the context of outdoor adventure. Boys from kindergarten through 12th grade are engaged in a Troop setting by male mentors where they are challenged to grow in character, understand their purpose, serve their community, and develop practical leadership skills to carry out the mission for which they were created. The 5k is our only fundraiser for the year and supplies our troop with the necessary funds to fulfill all our service projects in the area, as well as maintaining our troop equipment.

Events:

• Worthy 5k: $20 (Early Bird), $25, $30. 8:00AM CST - 10:00AM CST. Registration Opens August 1, 2025 at 1:57pm CDT
• Worthy Fun Run (10 & UNDER - 1/2 MILE): $20 (Early Bird), $25, $30. 7:50AM CST - 8:00AM CST. Registration Opens August 1, 2025 at 6:20am CDT

Prizes for First and Second place for MALE & FEMALE in the following categories: FUN RUN 10 & UNDER - 1/2 MILE (Quarter mile out & back) 11-14 yrs / 15-19 / 20-29 / 30-39 / 40-49 / 50-59 / 60+

COFFEE, HOT CHOCOLATE, WATER, ALONG WITH ALL YOUR FAVORITE POST RACE SNACKS WILL BE AVAILABLE AFTER THE RACE!

Special Note: Strollers, wagons, baby joggers, and any hand pushed or pulled vehicle will be allowed on the course, but at a walk pace capacity only. Absolutely NO in-line skates, roller skates or runners with baby strollers will be allowed on run course. This rule is an RRCA regulation!
