Bergamo Running (BGR)

Bergamo Running crew, a passionate and motivated group of runners, quickly became a staple of the city’s running scene after its founding in June 2015. The crew often runs along the Venetian Walls, taking in the sweeping views and enjoying the fresh air as they go. They are known for their “suicide sessions” on the track, where they challenge themselves to the limit and strive for excellence. Their main priorities are simple: To meet new people, have a good time, and never stop running. They often take long Sunday strolls over the old city’s ramparts, taking in the sights and sounds of this vibrant city. Their love of the city and its rich culture is evident in everything they do. One of the things that sets this crew apart is their motto, “Run Pizza Repeat.” This phrase is a playful nod to their Italian heritage and their love of pizza. The crew is proud to be a part of this community and participates in many local races and events, including the annual Bergamo Half Marathon. They have helped to create a supportive and welcoming community for runners of all levels, and they have inspired many new runners to take up the sport. Their commitment to running and their love of the city have made them a beloved part of the Bergamo community.
