Big Turtle 2.0

Welcome to the Big Turtle 2.0, a thrilling trail race set in the beautiful Morehead State University campus. This event offers three exciting distances: the challenging 50 Mile, the ultrarunner-friendly 50K, and a beginner-friendly 10 Mile course.

Event Details

The 50 Mile course features an elevation gain of 8,300 feet, starting at 7:00 AM with a cut-off time of 10:00 PM. The 50K course, with an elevation gain of 4,800 feet, starts at 8:00 AM, while the 10 Mile course, with an elevation gain of 2,200 feet, begins at 9:00 AM.

What's New in 2025?

This year, we have a new start and finish line location, moving further onto the campus for a more exciting experience. The 50 Mile route has been adjusted to include an extra aid station and an additional climb, ensuring a challenging yet rewarding experience for all participants.
