Frosted Lakes 5K

The Frosted Lakes 5K is a running event held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, in Penn Yan, NY. This is the 2nd annual event and serves as a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity of Yates County.

The deadline to sign up and be guaranteed a T-shirt is Thursday, December 25, 2025. Registration ends January 21, 2026, at 11:59 AM EST.

Packet Pickup

• Early Packet Pickup: Friday, January 23, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Wellspring Fellowship.
• Race Day Packet Pickup: Starts at 8:00 AM at Wellspring Fellowship.

Route Information

The race starts at Wellspring Fellowship (465 N. Main St., Penn Yan). The route follows public roads, including North Main Street, Main Street, East Court Street, Linden Street, and North Avenue, turning around at the Walnut Street intersection before returning to Wellspring Fellowship.

Post-Race

Warm chili and camaraderie will be available after the race.

Parking

Parking is available at WellSpring Fellowship (465 North Main St.), the Community Room (463 North Main Street), and overflow parking at the Yates Community Center (467 North Main Street).

Prizes

Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 males, top 3 females, and top 3 finishers aged 12 and under.
