LCSO K9 5K Run/Walk

The LCSO Annual K9 5K Run/Walk, hosted by the Louisa County Sheriff’s Office & LCSO Foundation, takes place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 8:30 AM. The event is held at Spring Creek Sports Center, 181 Clubhouse Way, Zion Crossroads, VA 22942. It includes a 5K run/walk and a 1/2 mile fun run for kids. The event raises funds for community programs and the LCSO K9 Unit.

• LCSO Spring Kids’ ½ Mile – Fun run for children

Schedule of Events:

• Packet Pickup: Friday, April 24, 2026, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at LCSO (1 Woolfolk Ave, Suite 101, Louisa, VA 23093)
  Saturday, April 24, 2026, 7:00 AM at Spring Creek Sports Center
• 7:00 AM – Race Day Packet Pickup Begins
• 8:30 AM – 5K Race Start
• 9:30 AM – ½ Mile Kids Race Start
• 10:00 AM – Awards Ceremony (Approximate)
• 10:15 AM – K-9 Demonstration (Approximate)

Dog-Friendly Event Guidelines:

• All well-behaved dogs are welcome (leashed).
• Owners must clean up after their dogs.
• Dogs are not permitted in the clubhouse.
• All dogs must be current on rabies vaccinations.
