Race for the Gold 5K

Race for the Gold returns to Gilberts. This community favorite is back and better than ever with a 5K course starting and finishing at Town Center Park. This year Cross Kicks Fitness will also be on site hosting the Youth Performance Zone, where their trainers will guide kids through fun speed and agility stations and athletic challenges. All proceeds from the event help support local youth programs, school supplies and equipment for the Gilberts Elementary School students.

Amenities

Shirts are guaranteed for all pre-registered participants. Shirts not guaranteed on race day. Food & refreshments will be provided. Check your kids in at the Kids Corral while you run the race - supervised by GES teachers and staff.

Finisher Medal

All participants receive finisher medals.

Awards

Top overall male and female and top 3 male and female age groups will receive awards. Age groups include 8 & under, 9-11, 12-13, 14-16, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over.

Timing & Scoring

Race will be timed and scored with a disposable chip provided, which will be attached to the back of the bib.
