Satchel's 6th Annual Get Your Mutt Movin' 5K

Race Info

Satchel's 6th Annual Get Your Mutt Movin' 5K is a 5K race supporting Satchel's Last Resort, a no-kill animal rescue in Sarasota. The event takes place at Payne Park, featuring a scenic, flat course with wide paths suitable for runners, walkers, and their pets.

New this year: Raise at least $250 for Satchel's and receive free registration. The course has been updated to extend into the surrounding neighborhood.

An award ceremony will recognize the top 3 winners in each category. Donations for cats and dogs will be collected at the Satchel's tent; a donation earns a free raffle ticket.

Post-race activities include pet cartoons by Jeffrey King, Lure Coursing, a "Pie Eating" contest, and raffles.

Packet Pickup

Evening Before: Friday, March 27th from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at New Balance Store, 711 S. Osprey Ave.

Race Day: Beginning at 7:30 am at the race check-in/registration table near the starting line.
