Vermont PANDAS & PANS Awareness 5K Run/Walk

Welcome to the first-ever PANS/PANDAS Awareness event in Vermont! Join us for a 5K fun run and walk along the Burlington Rec Path on October 12, 2024 to raise awareness for PANS/PANDAS. Everyone is welcome: from seasoned runners to families looking for community fun.

We are partnering with The Alex Manfull Fund to support awareness, education, and research related to PANS and PANDAS. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Neuroimmune Psychiatric Disorder clinic at Dartmouth Hospital.

What are PANS & PANDAS?

PANS and PANDAS are conditions that occur when a child’s immune response to infection leads to inflammation in the brain, causing sudden behavioral and personality changes. These conditions are largely unknown in Vermont, making awareness and education vital.
