Description: Every year The City of Canal Fulton hosts a Christmas on the canal event throughout our historic district. We have ice carving demonstrations, a wood carving demonstration, crafts for kids at various businesses, a parade, and we end the evening with our Christmas tree lighting. All new for this year, we are adding a 1 mile sprint from the City's square on South Canal St. towards the YMCA, where they would make the turn heading back to the finish line to complete the 1 mile sprint. All proceeds will be put towards our downtown holiday decorations. We encourage all racers to dress up following a Christmas theme. This sprint will take place right before the parade. This will be exciting for all racers to have spectators watching and cheering them on throughout their entire sprint. So, bring your families and friends to enjoy the festivities throughout the day and join the race to support our great little City!
