About the Event
14th Annual Surfin' Turkey 5K and Puppy Drum Fun Run
Join us to raise money for Hatteras Island students! Run this beautiful 5K course through the historic fishing village before your big Thanksgiving feast! A fun pancake breakfast immediately follows the race along with the awards ceremony. The proceeds from this race support the Hatteras Island Youth Education Fund (HIYEF).

Additional Information: This is not a timed race. There is one water station on the course. Strollers are welcome. Bikes, e-bikes, scooters, or skates are not permitted. This is a non-refundable charity event. Race is rain or shine but will be canceled for safety reasons in the event of severe weather.
