About the Event
2024 Santa Run 5k
Join us for our annual Santa Run 5k on Saturday, December 14 at 10:00 am! Whether you are jolly jogging, Santa sprinting, or winter wonderland walking or wheeling, this family friendly event is open to all ages and abilities. All registrants get a Santa suit and a $10 gift certificate to Fleet Feet Des Moines. $15 of your entry fee goes to one of the following charities of your choice: Girls on the Run, Children's & Families of Iowa, Team Run Free, Living History Farms, Boys & Girls Club of Central Iowa.
Packet pick up will be Thursday, December 12 from 3:00-6:00 PM and Friday, December 13 from 3:00-6:00 PM at Fleet Feet Des Moines. A limited packet pick up will be held before the race from 8:30-9:30 AM.
Race start time will begin at 10:00 AM on 5th and Walnut Street, with delicious hot chocolate at the finish line. Then, head over to SingleSpeed for a post-race afterparty and receive $2 off your first beer or soda if you show your race bib or are wearing a Santa suit!
