2025 Seattle Ghost Marathon, Half & 50K

Event Overview

November 29, 2025, will be the 40th running of the Seattle Ghost Marathon. This event began in 1985, adapting after the Seattle Marathon changed its course and moved to Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend.

The marathon features two 13.1-mile loops on streets and sidewalks along the scenic Lake Washington. The start/finish area is at the Ferdinand St Boat Launch. The course offers a clockwise loop around Seward Park and north along Lake Washington, returning to the start/finish after a turn at the Madrona Drive intersection.

There are aid stations every 3.1 miles on each loop, ensuring participants are well supported throughout the race.

Additional Information

No dogs or strollers are permitted on the course due to sidewalk sections. Packet pickup will be available on race day.
