Sobre o evento

2026 Death Valley Marathon, Half Marathon & 10K™

Enjoy an out-and-back relatively flat course (fewer than 500 feet of climbing and descending). You'll admire the beauty of the surrounding desert as you follow this paved run from the Oasis Ranch at Furnace Creek along Hwy. 190 through the heart of Death Valley National Park, including a section through scenic Mustard Canyon. The entire course is below sea level with fantastic vistas of the surrounding mountain ranges: the Panamints, the Funerals, the Cottonwoods, the Blacks and the Grapevines. Your immediate surroundings are the exotic flora and fauna found only on the desert floor. This is probably one of the most unique courses you could pick for your next race. The desert is beautiful this time of year with mild temperatures; lows range between 30 and 40 degrees and highs hit the low 70s.

This event is limited to 300 total participants and will sell out, so don't wait too long to register!

Course Details

The run will start and finish at the Day Use Area #1 adjacent to the Furnace Creek Ranch. All run distances will run along the bike path adjacent to Hwy 190, turn to go past the Harmony Borax Works and through Mustard Canyon. The 10K will turn around at the Mile 3 aid station. The half marathon runners will do a double out & back. First turnaround for the half marathon runners will be at the 10K turnaround. On their second out & back, the half marathon runners will run past the first aid station to the half marathon TURNAROUND and then return to Furnace Creek to finish. ALL Runners will spread out along the course and will run single file along the west shoulder of the road AT ALL TIMES.
