2026 PNC Kentucky Derby Festival Tour de Lou Training Program

Open to ages: 8+

This FREE training program is designed to help participants prepare for cycling around the city. The Kentucky Derby Festival and PNC are offering this program for cyclists of all experience levels. The program includes six rides with training tips on hand signals, rules of the road, and nutrition information.

All training rides will take place on Sundays from February 22 through March 29, 2026, starting at noon. The rides will gradually increase in distance by five miles every few weeks. Rides begin at the Waterfront Park Yellow Parking Lot on River Road.

Requirements: Participants must bring a bicycle and a helmet.

The first 250 participants to register will receive a free training shirt.
