5th annual Glühwein Gallop

Get ready for some wintertime fun on Saturday, December 20 for the 5th annual Glühwein Gallop 5k Run/Walk! Taking place during the Carmel Christkindlmarkt festivities at Carter Green, the event draws its name from the German word Glühwein (pronounced 'glue vine'), which translates to Glowing Wine in English. Glühwein is a delicious mulled wine that is served warm in different flavors. Glühwein and its special mugs are one of the biggest attractions each year at Christkindlmarkt.

Participants will start at 9:00am and run along this exciting course, which goes by the Palladium, through the Carmel Arts & Design District and past the shops on Main Street, and along the Monon Trail, before finishing back at the market. We love our four-legged friends, but for everyone's safety, NO DOGS are allowed on the course.

Participants will be able to purchase their very own commemorative Glühwein mugs for an additional $6 during event registration! These mugs can be picked up AFTER you finish the race.
