9th Annual Geisinger Marworth Recovery Fun Run; Celebrating National Recovery Month 5K and 1 Mile Walk

Race Date: Sunday, September 7, 2025 at 10:00 AM EDT
Race Location: Lackawanna River Heritage Trail, Olive Street trailhead, Scranton, PA 18508 US
Beneficiary: Race proceeds will benefit the Geisinger Marworth Therapeutic Activities Fund. This fund helps provide therapeutic recreation programs and facilities to help our patients experience healthy leisure and gain sober social skills that will aid them in their ongoing recovery post discharge from treatment.
Events:

• 5k Run: $25
• 1 Mile Walk: $25
• Virtual 5k Run: $25
• Virtual 1 Mile Walk: $25

Registration: Day of registration from 8:30 to 9:45 AM. Race fee: $25 pre-registered by September 5th. $30 day of race (includes t-shirt while supplies last).
Awards: Medals will be awarded to top male/female finishers in various age groups. A prize raffle will also be held.
