Description

Join us for the FREE 17th Annual Labor Your Legs Fun Run and Walk. Labor Day (Sept. 1, 2025) is a great way to start your fitness journey for the Fall. This year the Sunflower Striders Running Club will partner with the Washburn University Foundation to honor Professor Dave Provorse and his wife, who were killed in a tragic accident. All proceeds from this race will be donated to the Provorse Educational fund at Washburn that helps support students in Psychology.

The run will start and end at the SRWC (Student Recreation and Wellness Center) on Washburn University. Participants will run north-east and then circle the campus before finishing where they started. There will be a clock for those wanting to see their times. Stay afterwards and enjoy some light refreshments. We look forward to seeing you there!
