Free State Trail Run

The Free State Trail Run takes place on Saturday, October 11, 2025, starting at 8:00 AM. The event will feature various distances, including a 40-Miler, Marathon, Half Marathon, and a Quarter Marathon.

Start Location: The race starts at the Kimberly Drive Trailhead in Meriden, KS.

Please note the following:

• Registration closes on Thursday, October 9, at 11:59 PM CT.
• A state park fee of $5 applies, payable on-site.
• Packet pickup begins at 7:00 AM on race day.

Entry Fees:

• 40-Miler: $80
• Marathon: $50
• Half Marathon: $40
• Quarter Marathon (6.5 miles): $30
• Add $20 for race day entry.

Aid Stations: The staffed aid station will be stocked with drinks and food. A remote aid station will only have water available.

Course Description: The course consists of 100% single-track trails in a hardwood forest. Distances include:

• 1/4-Marathon: 1 Loop (6.75 miles)
• Half Marathon: 2 Loops
• Marathon: 4 Loops
• 40-Mile: 6 Loops

Finishers: T-shirts and logo mugs for early registrants, and finishers receive distance-specific awards and caps for 40-mile finishers.
