Race Info

The Afiya 5K is a women-only community run at Bryn Mawr Meadows Park. Come as you are– run, walk, or jog –and enjoy a supportive, upbeat atmosphere where we cheer every finish. Every participant earns a finisher medal, the Top 3 overall receive gift prizes, and we’ll wrap up with our post-race “Sip & Stride” Social with food, drinks, and time to connect.

What Afiya is about:

• Movement: A friendly 3.1-mile route you can do at your pace
• Mindfulness: Be present, listen to your body, and enjoy the miles
• Community: A welcoming space where women encourage and celebrate each other

What to expect on race day

• Clearly marked out-and-back on paved park paths
• 1 water station on course + hydration at the finish
• Helpful volunteers near the start/finish
• Medal for all finishers and gift prizes for the Top 3 overall women
• Results posted on RunSignup

Good to know

• Beginner and walker-friendly with a 75-minute time window
• Strollers welcome
• Headphones ok –stay aware

Virtual option

Can’t make it in person? Choose Virtual 5K, complete your 3.1 miles during race week, submit your time, and we’ll mail your medal. Come for the miles, stay for the Sip & Stride –and leave with a medal, momentum, and a community that’s glad you came!
