Around the Beach 5K

Celebrate wellness and support people in recovery! This event includes a 5k, a 1.55 mile Fun Walk (untimed), and a Virtual option. Two loops around the lake at Munroe Falls Metro Park on the paved path. The course is hilly and paved. We're simplifying the route slightly from previous years, by adding a short out and back on a service road (see map). 1.55 mile fun (untimed) walk option (1 loop)It's a great course for strollers and our four-legged friends. Everyone will get an amazing custom tech shirt and custom finishers medal. We'll have plenty of treats to enjoy at the finish line. DJ and Live Ukelele music. We will celebrate all paces by giving out awards to our speedier guests and then cheering on those finishing later. We'll also have some fun team competitions for the hairiest and largest. Awards will be given to the overall Female/Male winners (1, 2, 3) as well as to the following Age groups: under 10, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+. Early packet pick-up will be Friday 6/21 from 4 pm- 7 pm at 2425 Medina Rd, Medina. Race day pick-up will be from 6:30 AM until 7:45 at the race site.
