Baddow Pass Firefighter 5K-10K-9.11 mile

The 2nd Annual Baddow Pass Firefighter 5K-10K-9.11 mile is being hosted by members of the Richland Township Volunteer Fire Department in Glenmont, OH. We invite all firefighters and civilians to run or walk one of three events - 5K, 10K, or 9.11 mile. The event will also include a 5K "Gear Grind" for firefighters wanting a challenge and wishing to complete the 5K in full turnout gear and SCBA (off air) - running/walking shoes are recommended and encouraged. The 9.11 mile event is meant to bring remembrance to all who were lost and honor all of those affected by the tragic event that occurred on 9/11/2001. This event is being held as a fundraiser for the department's special operations team. Proceeds made will go towards new gear and equipment for our rope rescue team, so that we are fully prepared to provide for our community when we are called upon. All participants that pre-register will be given a T-shirt, and those who finish their selected event will be given a Richland Township Fire Department challenge coin. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each of the events will be awarded a medal, as well as some special recognition for our younger participants.
