Tröegs Rugged Trail 5K Run for Conservation
Celebrate with us at our annual Tröegs Rugged Trail Run for Conservation! This event is a fundraiser supporting the Ned Smith Center's lands and trails system. The race includes two courses:
- HopBack Trail (Beginner): A walker-friendly route along the Wiconisco Creek.
- Rugged Trail 5K: A more challenging course with a 700 ft elevation climb.
Following the race, enjoy a post-race party with live music, food, and drinks. All participants receive a 5K race shirt, a pizza token, and a Tröegs Rugged Trail Ale token (or root beer for those under 21).

Start Times: HopBack Trail - 5:00 PM EDT, Rugged Trail 5K - 5:10 PM EDT
Registration: Early bird registration is $45 (ages 13+), $15 (ages 12 and under). Price increases to $50 after April 30, 2025. Day-of registration is $55 (ages 13+), $20 (ages 12 and under).
