The BLSC Bathing Box Classic will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Dendy Beach, Brighton, organized by Brighton Life Saving Club.

- Location: Dendy Beach, Brighton (Brighton Life Saving Club - 133 Esplanade, Brighton)
- Entry Deadline: 4:00 PM, Saturday, January 31, 2026
- Courses: 2.5km (starts 9:00 AM AEDT), 1.2km (starts 10:30 AM AEDT)
- Swim Categories: Junior (12-17 yrs), Open (18-29 yrs), and age groups (30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+)
- Registration: Online entries only. No on-the-day entries.
- Pricing: $65 for one event, $90 for both.
- Included: BLSC Bathing Box Classic Long Sleeve T-Shirt guaranteed for online entries.
Rules and Regulations:
- Minimum age is 12 years.
- Swimmers can accept flotation assistance but not propulsion assistance.
- Assistance from IRBs or Rescue Jet Skis results in retirement.
- Wetsuits are permitted.
- Transponders (timing bracelets) must be worn at all times; lost transponders incur a $100 charge.
