Brian P. Kelly 2 Mile Footrace

Race Info

The Brian P. Kelly 2 Mile Footrace is the first event of the season and is the oldest road race in the Scranton Area.

Course

This is a 2 mile course. The course is relatively flat with some gently rolling hills. The course will be run entirely on the parade route. It will be an out and back course. Runners must stay to the right at all times to avoid interfering with other runners.

Registration

Registration on the day of the race will be from 9am to 10:30am at the Lackawanna College Student Union. Pre-registered runners can pick up race numbers and t-shirts here. T-shirts are provided by sponsors and will be given to the first 100 registered runners.

Finish and Awards

The award ceremony will be held at the Lackawanna College Student Union as soon as the race is completed, expected no later than 12:00pm. Trophies will be awarded to the first & second place male & female runners overall. Medals will be awarded to the top 2 male & female runners in various age categories.
