Description

Celebrate Thanksgiving weekend and the lighting of Christmas Mountain in Salida with a 5-mile and 1-mile race! The 5-mile course begins and ends by Riverside Park. It's mostly flat and scenic. The 1-mile run starts at approximately 10:05 am. Post-race drinks, snacks, and awards will take place in Riverside Park. Festivities include the annual Christmas Mountain parade (6 pm) and fireworks.

Course Details (5 Mile):

The 5-mile course is a loop that begins and ends on Sackett Avenue. It's mostly flat with 158 feet of elevation gain/loss and includes paved roads, dirt/gravel paths, and paved bike paths. There may be snowy or icy spots.
