Description: 5th Annual RUN FOR A PAWS 5K. This 5K race incorporates parts of Downtown Rockmart and the Silver Comet Trail. Proceeds benefit the City of Rockmart Police Department K9 Fund.
Registration:
- $30 Pre-Race Registration Fee (Registration closes September 28th at 11:00 PM EDT)
- $40 Race Day Registration Fee
Start-Finish Line: The Starting Line is located at the intersection of Slate St. and Cherry St. in Downtown. The Finish line is located along the Silver Comet Trail adjacent to Euharlee Creek next to Veterans Plaza.
Race Route: The race route utilizes portions of downtown surface streets and the Silver Comet Trail.
Race Day Schedule:
- 6:45 AM: Race Day Registration Opens
- 7:30 AM: Race Day Registration Closes
- 8:00 AM: 5K Start Time
- 9:15 AM: 5K Awards Presentation
Pre-Registration Packet Pickup: Friday, October 4th, 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM at Rockmart Police Department Headquarters.
Awards: Awards will be given to top male and female finishers in various categories.
