Conquer the Cave 5K

The Conquer the Cave 5K takes place on September 21, 2025, starting in a picturesque valley surrounded by mountains and fields. Runners will traverse a portion of the course that leads them into the famous cave, featuring a 0.6-mile out and back segment. Each runner will receive a glow stick at the turnaround in the cave, which will be beautifully lit throughout the course.

• Packet Pickup: September 21, 2025, at Back 40 Brewing from 12 PM to 5 PM, and at the race on Sunday from 10 AM to 1 PM.
• Course Waves: There will be five waves of runners, starting at 9:00 AM with 30-minute intervals between waves.
• Distance: 5K (3.1 miles)
• Price: $45.00 - $60.00
• Weather: Average temperatures are expected to be 54°F to 79°F on race day; inside the cave, it remains a cool 58°F year-round.
• Age Groups: Age categories include 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
